Biography

I am a ceramic artist in Portland, Oregon creating unique pottery in small batches. My style leans toward modern with clean profiles and simple designs. Each piece is hand-crafted to be pleasing to the eye, to touch, and to use.

I first started exploring claywork while living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Many years of trying to fit ceramics into a busy life gave me a taste of the craft and a vision that has led to the present. Now with a studio in Portland, I am excited to devote time to this art form that I love.

My interests are eclectic. I am founder and senior educator at Breakthrough Learning, which brings innovative methods and tools to organizations for improving performance. I’m an instrument-rated pilot, having flown for business, for pleasure, and for charitable causes. My current volunteer work is with Angel Flight West as a board member; and providing pet therapy as a certified Pet Partners team with my gentle dog Bader.

My amazing family includes my husband, three sons, daughters-in-law, grandson, siblings and their families. I am so grateful to have them in my life.
